This is such a SPECIAL book. It honours the roots of where our fathers/mothers come from, their very special backgrounds and traditions which are respected and celebrated in this book. The traditions are revealed to the younger generation (grand kids living abroad). These kids look up to and love their grandma (Teta). The characters are good role models showing interest and trying to honour their family traditions with their grandma. This resonates with so many families living away from home. Our child absolutely adored this book and it's one that they asked their own grandma to read to them. It's wordy (we like books with a bit of story content) but our youngest who was more into basic picture books still sat down and listened to it while snuggling with grandma. A book to treasure.
